June is full of festivals in New Jersey! From alternative to ska punk to country to the wide range of North to Shore, there’s something for everyone this month.

Below is a list of featured shows taking place throughout New Jersey during the month of June:

June 3: Dave Matthews Band at PNC Bank Arts Center, Holmdel

PNC’s calendar continues this month, starting with Dave Matthews Band, who recently declared PNC Bank Arts Center as a “classic” tour stop.

Aside from 2019 and 2020, the band has not skipped PNC since 2013.

June 5: The Weeknd at MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford

MetLife is getting another huge stadium show to kick off the month in The Weeknd, famous for “Blinded By the Light” and other hits. He’s bringing along rap artist Playboi Carti on the “After Hours Till Dawn” tour.

June 6: Halsey at PNC Bank Arts Center, Holmdel

Halsey’s “For My Last Trick” tour trucks on through the heart of New Jersey this weekend for her first show in the state in two years.

She will also be performing at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden on Saturday, June 7.

June 6: Khalid at Etess Arena, Atlantic City

Khalid returns to NJ for a show at Hard Rock’s Etess Arena in AC. It will be his first headline show in New Jersey ever.

He previously played shortened sets in the state: We Can Survive Festival in 2024 at Prudential Center, opening sets for Ed Sheeran at MetLife Stadium in 2023, the MTV Video Awards at PruCenter with Marshmello, and a set at Shadow of the City in 2017.

June 10: Hozier at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion, Camden

Following his Sunday night headlining set at the Governors Ball in Queens, Hozier will head on down to Philly for a headlining set at Freedom Mortgage.

He will also headline the first night of Sea.Hear.Now in September.

June 10: Glass Animals at Stone Pony Summer Stage, Asbury Park

Also following their headlining set at the Governors Ball, Glass Animals will head to Asbury for an outdoor show on the Summer Stage.

The band has never performed in New Jersey before.

June 12: Ziggy Alberts at The Stone Pony, Asbury Park

If you remember Ziggy Alberts from Sea.Hear.Now last year, he’s returning to the city this month! Catch him at the indoor Pony on June 12.

June 13: Queens of the Stone Age at Etess Arena, Atlantic City

Etess Arena’s great run of shows continues this year with Queens of the Stone Age’s first performance in New Jersey in 12 years.

The band performed at a record store in the state in 2013, but haven’t performed a full headline show in the state since 2005, when they headlined House of Blues in AC. That was 20 years ago!

June 13: Keith Urban at PNC Bank Arts Center, Holmdel

Keith Urban always makes sure to make a stop in NJ on his tours–typically multiple. This year, however, he will only be stopping at PNC, as opposed to both PNC and Freedom Mortgage.

Alana Springsteen and Chase Matthew will provide support.

Urban also headlined Barefoot Country Music Fest in 2024.

June 14: The Black Keys at Stone Pony Summer Stage, Asbury Park

The Black Keys are making their comeback followed their cancelled arena tour, this time at the Summer Stage. Most would say an improvement from the fan experience perspective!

The band is touring in support of their latest record, “No Rain, No Flowers,” which is set to be released this summer.

June 14: The Beach Boys at PNC Bank Arts Center, Holmdel

The Beach Boys have played about a billion shows in New Jersey and are back for more. Well, they’re nearing in on 300 shows in the state. John Stamos will join the crew in Holmdel for a special set.

June 18: Motion City Soundtrack at The Stone Pony, Asbury Park

As North to Shore kicks off, Motion City Soundtrack will be part of the bill at The Stone Pony on June 18, following their performance at Warped Tour in DC.

North to Shore is an annual festival, now renewed for its third year, promoting shows throughout New Jersey during the month of June. The festival is responsible for some of the biggest names performing in New Jersey.

June 19-22: Barefoot Country Music Fest, Wildwood

If you’re looking for some country music on the beach, Barefoot is right for you. Last year, daily attendance reached an all-time high, with one night sparking a crowd of 35,000 attendees.

This year, the festival is headlined by Jelly Roll, Jason Aldean, Lainey Wilson, Rascal Flatts, and Jordan Davis, and will feature other huge names like Megan Moroney and Sam Barber.

The full schedule and information can be found here.

June 20: Third Eye Blind at Prudential Hall, Newark

Third Eye Blind are returning to New Jersey for a one-off headline show with Stars. The show is part of the Newark portion of North to Shore Festival.

June 20: Less Than Jake at Starland Ballroom, Sayreville

We had a prediction that Less Than Jake would come to Starland this year with a killer lineup, and it came true! The band is rolling through with Fishbone and The Suicide Machines for a full night of ska-punk.

June 21: Adam Ray Is Dr. Phil at Tropicana, Atlantic City

It’s always good to take a break from concerts with a comedy show, and comedian Adam Ray has been on a roll on the road with his Dr. Phil-impersonating comedy show.

Each show features guest comedians and celebrities, along with crowd participation.

June 22: Slightly Stoopid and Iration at Stone Pony Summer Stage, Asbury Park

These two groups come together for a great Summer Stage bill, and the Sunday night show will be part of North to Shore.

June 26: Stone Temple Pilots at Prudential Hall, Newark

One of the final bands coming to town for Newark’s North to Shore is Stone Temple Pilots, who are playing their first headline show in the state since 2021.

The band co-headlined a show with LIVE at PNC Bank Arts Center last year, performing “Purple” in full.

June 26: Jack’s Mannequin at Stone Pony Summer Stage, Asbury Park

Jack’s Mannequin, who will also be in NYC and Philly on the weekend of June 7, will be coming back north for a North to Shore show at the Summer Stage. It’s the band’s first full tour in about ten years.

June 27: Streetlight Manifesto at Stone Pony Summer Stage, Asbury Park

A fan-favorite annual show and New Jersey’s own, Streetlight Manifesto are performing their “Long Summer Night” Summer Stage show for the third straight year on June 27! The band will be celebrating the release of their first record in 12 years at the show.

June 28: Counting Crows with The Gaslight Anthem at PNC Bank Arts Center, Holmdel

Speaking of NJ, The Gaslight Anthem is opening up for Counting Crows on the “Complete Sweets” tour. The tour will also stop in Atlantic City on July 5.

June 28: Bleachers/Shadow of the City at Stone Pony Summer Stage, Asbury Park

As if the NJ band lineup couldn’t get any better, Bleachers’ own Shadow of the City festival returns for another year on the Summer Stage. It will be the seventh edition of the festival in Asbury Park.

June 29: Brand New at Prudential Center, Newark

From the Northeast, Brand New is reuniting this year and will perform one of the only arena shows on the tour in Newark.
