Avenged Sevenfold and Good Charlotte as a co-headline arena show did not disappoint.
On Monday night, the two bands brought their North American tour to Long Island’s UBS Arena for a well-sold NYC show, and Good Charlotte’s first headline show in the city since 2018.

Good Charlotte took the stage first to their biggest hit, “The Anthem,” which is a great way to kick off a 75-minute set. Equipped with fire and pyro, the band put on a really cool show.

Both Madden brothers sounded really good, and the band played a really tight set.

Good Charlotte setlist:
- The Anthem
- Girls & Boys
- Riot Girl
- Keep Your Hands Off My Girl
- Predictable
- Wondering
- Rejects

Avenged Sevenfold took the stage shortly after, and the crowd erupted with energy and crowd surfers. Yes, UBS security did struggle to start with the constant flow of surfers, but it seems like they figured it out.

The band sounded tight and played a lot of classics, keeping their newer and highly criticized new music out of the set.

Sevenfold played for about 90 minutes, closing the night around 11:00 p.m.
