Jason Aldean stopped by PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, N.J. on the opening weekend of his “Songs About Us” tour, celebrating his latest record.

Not only has an Aldean concert become an annual tradition for New Jersey concert-goers, but his shows keep getting bigger, and the frequency in which he can sell out shows in New Jersey is impressive.

Aldean’s last tour, “Full Throttle,” stopped by New Jersey three times: twice in 2025 — including headlining the 40,000-person Barefoot Country Music Fest and a show at Sports Illustrated Stadium, which can fit 30,000 — and once earlier this winter in Atlantic City.

This tour will come back to New Jersey in September for a show at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion. It goes to show how sneaky popular Aldean is in a state like New Jersey, where he can perform five headline shows in two years.

As for the concert itself, the run of the show didn’t change much from last year, aside from the inclusion of three new songs off of the new album: “Don’t Tell on Me,” “How Far Does a Goodbye Go,” and “Anytime Soon.” The first two have already hit No. 1 on country radio, and the last is on a promising track.

As we’ve covered so many Aldean shows over the year, it’s always important to note how tight and well-run his shows are. He can consistently perform 20-22 hits over an hour and a half, and there is never a moment in the show that becomes dull or boring, which I see in most concerts I review.

Aldean’s tour continues through the end of the year, and he will also be playing shows alongside Luke Bryan at massive stadiums on the “Double Down” tour, with the closest show being Nationals Park.
