For one night only, Streetlight Manifesto will be back in New Jersey on Saturday, Dec. 14 at Starland Ballroom. The return will be 160 days since their headlining show at the Stone Pony Summer Stage earlier this year.

Starland’s homecoming show is the final stop on the “Myth of Monsters” tour, which started in NJ this July. Still to remain on the tour is Punk in the Park in San Diego, opening for The Offspring and Pennywise, headlining shows at Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn on Dec. 6, Franklin Music Hall/The Electric Factory in Philadelphia on Dec. 7, and the Roadrunner in Boston on Dec. 8.

Boston-natives Rebuilder, who opened the 2023 show at Starland, will be opening shows on that December stretch.

On the final stop at Starland Ballroom on Dec. 14, Brooklyn-based band Sadlands will open. The band performs frequently in the area and even performed at The Fest in Florida, which was hosted by Streetlight Manifesto and The Bouncing Souls.

When Streetlight announced the annual homecoming show weeks ago, they made it clear that a second show would not be announced. The show is still yet to sell out.

On an Instagram announcement, the band said the following:

IT IS THAT TIME, ONCE AGAIN, FRIENDS. Our big ole hometown year end throwdown! THE LONG WINTER NIGHT 2024! Sayreville, in the lovely land of the Newest of Jerseys! Starland Ballroom! Saturday, December 14! We will not be adding a second show, and this one will sell out, so go get ‘em if you want to wrap up 2024 with y’boys. PRESALE TICKETS ON SALE NOW IF YOU KNOW WHERE TO LOOK, ON SALE TO EVERYONE THAT DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO INTERWEB TOMORROW, BABY! LET’S GO, LET’S GO, LET’S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

The announcement came shortly after the band revealed that they are nearly finished with a new studio album, which would be their first since The Hands That Thieve in 2013, which resulted in a massive lawsuit.

“Why hello there! Tomas here, I’m the singer guy of this little Streetlight band, and I’m here to humbly and with as little fanfare as possible provide you with a quick update on the state of our new record,” the band said in a lengthy Instagram statement. “The album is 85% finished being recorded and should be at around 90-95% finished within a month or so. I say this with an estimated 82-96% degree of accuracy. Based on previous experiences and evidence, the accuracy of my personal concept of accuracy usually hovers right around 78%. It’s almost done is what I’m saying here.”
