Despite the absence of New Jersey’s Giants and Jets, some familiar faces were seen at Super Bowl LX in San Francisco on Sunday.
Charlie Puth, a native of Rumson, N.J. and graduate of Rumson-Fair Haven High School, performed the Star-Spangled Banner before kickoff.

Watch the full performance on YouTube.
The appearance concerning most New Jerseyans, however, is Jon Bon Jovi’s role introducing the New England Patriots to the field.

Jovi is not known for being a loyal fan to New Jersey’s sports franchises, though. In 2014, he attempted to purchase the Buffalo Bills but lost his bid. He is close with former Patriots coach Bill Belichick and has received two Super Bowl rings from New England.
His team was unsuccessful in their attempt at a seventh Super Bowl ring after losing to the Seahawks.
