The Governors Ball, taking place June 5—7 in Flushing, Queens, is taking a new, modernized approach to its lineup in what seems like a year of saturating festival lineups.

The festival, which holds roughly 50,000 attendees per day at Corona Park, has an emphasis on K-pop and hip-hop among its top names this year.

This year’s lineup features two K-pop headliners — Stray Kids and JENNIE, plus KATSEYE — and two hip-hop headliners, A$AP Rocky and Baby Keem. While the festival has featured K-pop in the past and has included hip-hop headliners, it seemed like they were being phased out of being headliners. Now, they are going back to what GovBall has always been: a place for the newest and most relevant artists and genres.

Lorde will also headline on Friday night.

GovBall will also kick off summer with a plethora of NYC-based artists performing in their hometown: Geese, The Dare, Del Water Gap, Arcy Drive, Lexa Gates, The Backfires, and Chanpan.

Other big names include Pierce the Veil, Dominic Fike, Amyl and the Sniffers, and a plethora of great artists.

Tickets for the festival go on sale this Thursday, Jan. 8, with presale from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Sign up here to get the SMS presale code.
