All Time Low brought its new record and world tour to New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom, just steps from Madison Square Garden. The stacked bill also featured pop-punk staples Mayday Parade, Four Year Strong, and rising newcomers The Paradox.
From the stage design to the graphics and pacing, the entire tour felt meticulously crafted. The band opened the night with an intimate moment — lead singer Alex Gaskarth performing “[cold open]” acoustically — before launching into two new tracks, “Oh No!” and “SUCKERPUNCH.”
The energy never let up. All Time Low tore through a wide-ranging setlist that featured new tracks and fan-favorite deep cuts. It was the kind of show that had something for every era of ATL fans — even the security guards scattered throughout the venue looked like they were enjoying themselves.
Midway through the set, the show paused following “Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don’t)” due to a crowd-surfing-related medical emergency. The band stepped offstage for about ten minutes before returning with “Dark Side of Your Room.” Before jumping back in, Gaskarth took a moment to address the crowd, emphasizing the importance of safety and looking out for one another.
As for the openers, all three delivered standout performances. Mayday Parade rolled through a tight, high-energy set packed with hits. Four Year Strong ignited one of the night’s biggest mosh pits. And The Paradox proved to be a refreshing new voice in today’s pop-punk scene and a great choice to kick off the evening.
