Oasis has been taking the world by storm for the past year, ever since the announcement of their return and world tour on August 27, 2024. Since then, the band has played shows in Europe, Toronto, and this week, will continue in Chicago and New Jersey.
The band is performing two nights at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford on Sunday, August 31, and Monday, September 1: Labor Day.
The British rock band will be joined by Cage the Elephant and Cast. Cage the Elephant will also be performing a headlining show at Atlantic City’s Ovation Hall in late October.
While tickets are sold out for the two shows, set to bring in nearly 100,000 attendees each day, there are two ways to get last-minute tickets.
Production release tickets
On Monday at 3:00 p.m., Oasis is releasing a limited number of last-minute production tickets, typically in places in the venue that the band can open up after assessing the stage and production setup in person.
In order to obtain these tickets, you would have needed to sign up for the ticket lottery this past week on the band’s website, and receive a code in your email.
If you have done that, tickets will go on sale on Monday, August 25 at 3:00 p.m. These will be the last face-value Ticketmaster tickets available for these shows.
Secondary market tickets
Tickets are still available on ticketing resale websites like StubHub, Vivid Seats, and SeatGeek.
On StubHub, the cheapest tickets are currently listed at $363 all-in for Sunday’s show, and $272 all-in for Monday’s show. However, these prices are expected to drop closer to show.
For today’s show in Toronto, tickets reached prices as low as $80 just hours before doors opened. A similar pattern is expected for the shows in East Rutherford.
Oasis hasn’t played a show in New Jersey since 2008, when they headlined Camden’s Susquehanna Bank Center on the “Dig Out Your Soul” tour. The two shows this weekend will be the band’s biggest shows in the Garden State.
