Warren Zeiders is opening the Stone Pony Summer Stage tonight for a year that will be one of the biggest in venue history.

The country singer recently made national headlines for kicking a patron out of his show after the fan made a middle-finger gesture in Zeiders’ direction. Shortly after, President Donald Trump took to social media to endorse Zeiders.

With Asbury Park being an area who typically supports LGBTQ+ rights, among others, some residents were not happy on the internet, though the Summer Stage typically brings in some controversial guests with it being a venue that brings in national acts.

Zeiders will be joined by Tyler Braden for the “Relapse” tour on the Summer Stage, followed by an official indoor aftershow by New Jersey’s own Not Leaving Sober at 11:00 pm.
