NJ ska band Streetlight Manifesto announced their first album in 12 years last week, and revealed more information this morning.
“The Place Behind The Stars” will be Streetlight’s sixth studio record, following “The Hands That Thieve” in 2013. The album will be produced by Pentimento Music Co., Streetlight’s own company, and has been recorded by the band themselves.
The album is set to be released on Tuesday, Jun. 24, just days before their return to the Stone Pony Summer Stage for the third edition of “The Long Summer Night.”

They posted the following caption across their social media:
Hello. Our new album is called The Place Behind The Stars. It will be released on June 24 by the Pentimento Music Co. We recorded it ourselves, as usual, and hope you will enjoy placing it inside your ears. Thank you, that is all for now.
