The New Jersey concert scene is in full swing in March, with tons of comedy, country, and big time touring acts rolling through the Garden State.

Below is a list of featured shows in the state this month

March 1: Jim Messina at Bergen PAC, Englewood

Jim Messina is rolling through New Jersey for the first time since 2023, though he performed at the Great South Bay Music Festival in 2024. Messina is known for his work with Buffalo Springfield and Messina & Loggins.

Messina will be returning to BPAC for the first time since 2018.

March 2: NCT 127 at Prudential Center, Newark

The PruCenter will continue bringing in huge arena acts to New Jersey with NCT 127, a K-Pop band. NCT 127 has performed at the PruCenter five times in the past eight years, but this will be their first New Jersey appearance since 2022.

March 6: Blake Shelton at Prudential Center, Newark

Country legend Blake Shelton is coming back to New Jersey on the “Friends & Heroes” tour with a huge bill featuring Deana Carter, Craig Morgan, Trace Adkins, and Emily Ann Roberts. It’ll be Shelton’s first time in the Garden State since his headlining performance at 2023’s Barefoot Country Music Fest.

The show will be Shelton’s PruCenter debut and first arena show in the state in 12 years.

March 7: Pepper at The Stone Pony, Asbury Park

Reggae band Pepper is rolling through clubs across the United States this spring, including Asbury’s indoor Stone Pony. Pepper has performed at the Summer Stage in each of the past two years.

March 8: Sebastian Maniscalco at Prudential Center, Newark

Earlier, we mentioned that March will see a lot of big comedy acts in the state, and that starts with Sebastian Maniscalco at the Prudential Center next week. Maniscalco was last at the PruCenter in 2022, but performed multiple nights at the Madison Square Garden last fall.

March 14: The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus at Debonair Music Hall, Teaneck

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and 408, both of which are featured on the Vans Warped Tour lineup this summer, are appearing at Teaneck’s small club as part of their spring tour. TRJA has a new single out now.

March 15: Chris Janson at The Wellmont Theater, Montclair

Chris Janson is giving North Jersey some country later this month at the Wellmont. Janson will also appear at the Barefoot Country Music Fest in June.

March 16: Andrew Dice Clay at Bergen PAC, Englewood

Andrew Dice Clay, the first comedian to ever sell out the Madison Square Garden many years ago, is returning to New Jersey with a newly announced show at BPAC. Dice Clay has been back on the rise after successful work with comedy skits on Instagram.

March 21: Katt Williams at Prudential Center, Newark

Katt Williams is performing a set at PruCenter for his debut at the venue. Williams was recently on Theo Von’s This Past Weekend podcast and discussed touring big arenas.

March 21: Wheatus at Wonder Bar, Asbury Park

If you’d rather see some classic pop punk, Wheatus is the way to go with their set at the Wonder Bar. The band is performing their debut self-titled record, which features their hit song “Teenage Dirtbag”.

March 27: Lawrence at The Wellmont Theater, Montclair

NYC’s own Lawrence is making their headlining Wellmont debut. The band opened for The Rolling Stones at MetLife Stadium last summer.

March 28: Start Making Sense & The Ocean Avenue Stompers at Count Basie, Red Bank

March closes out with a really cool show featuring Talking Heads tribute Start Making Sense and The Ocean Avenue Stompers sharing the stage. The show is unique and Start Making Sense have never done this before.
