Celtic-punk band Dropkick Murphys and ’80s punk band Bad Religion are stopping in New Jersey twice this summer on the ‘Summer of Discontent’ tour.

The bands will stop in Asbury Park at the Stone Pony Summer Stage on Aug. 13 and in Atlantic City at Ovation Hall/Ocean Resort on Aug. 15.
Dropkick hasn’t been back to the Summer Stage since 2021 on the ‘Boston to Berkeley II’ tour with Rancid. They last performed in the state in 2023 at the AC Beer Fest.
Bad Religion, however, has done over 40 shows in New Jersey, the last being in 2023 at Sayreville’s Starland Ballroom.
In 2019, the band performed at both Sea.Hear.Now in Asbury Park at Warped Tour 25 Years in Atlantic City.
