February is a unique month for concerts in New Jersey; this year is no different. The month isn’t crushed with shows, but features some of the biggest artists in the world to the Prudential Center, plus a selection of jam bands and others to theaters and clubs across the state.

Below is a list of featured shows in the state this month

February 8: Splintered Sunlight at The Stone Pony, Asbury Park

Splintered Sunlight, a Grateful Dead tribute band that has been around since the early ’90s, is returning to The Stone Pony. They play the venue at least once a year, and it’s known as a good show throughout the state and among Dead Heads.

February 8: Northvale at Debonair Music Hall, Teaneck

Debonair Music Hall has been pulling strong punk rock shows, and it continues with Northvale’s album release show this week. The show also features 5ever, Jam Poetry, and All Systems Go.

February 11: Aespa at Prudential Center, Newark

South Korean K-pop group Aespa will be headlining Newark’s Prudential Center later this year, one of many K-pop shows the venue has seen. It will be their first show in New Jersey; however they performed at the Barclays Center and Governors Ball in 2023.

February 14: The Get Up Kids at Starland Ballroom, Sayreville

The Get Up Kids will be returning to New Jersey this month on the “Something to Write Home About” anniversary tour. The band headlined The Stone Pony in the fall of 2024.

February 14: Wallows at Wellmont Theater, Montclair

Wallows are performing an intimate show at the Wellmont in Montclair later this month, a step down from their Madison Square Garden headlining show last summer. The band will also appear at GovBall this year.

February 14 – 16: Widespread Panic at Etess Arena, Atlantic City

Widespread Panic is performing a three-night residency at the Hard Rock’s Etess Arena in Atlantic City. It’s their first appearance in the state since 2009, and their first non-Philly regional performance in the state since 2001.

It’ll be the band’s 15th, 16th, and 17th show in the state.

February 16: Rod Wave at Prudential Center, Newark

Rapper Rod Wave returns to the Prudential Center after his canceled show last year, which was set for December. It’s his first show in Jersey since he appeared at the Wellmont Theater in 2021.

February 18: Kelsea Ballerini at Prudential Center, Newark

Country star Kelsea Ballerini is headlining the PruCenter later this month along with guests Ashe and Marynn Taylor.

February 22: Rod Stewart at Etess Arena, Atlantic City

The second Rod performing a show in the state this month! Stewart will be headlining the arena at Hard Rock in AC, and will be appearing at Yankee Stadium with Billy Joel in July.

February 24: Elvis Costello at Wellmont Theater, Montclair

World-renowned Elvis Costello is headlining the Wellmont Theater, his 45th show in the state. The set is a collaborative performance with Steve Nieve. The two will also appear at Red Bank’s Count Basie Theater on Feb. 21.

The duo was last in the state in 1999 in Camden.

February 27: moe. at Wellmont Theater, Montclair

moe. is bringing their ‘Circle of Giants’ tour to the Wellmont at the end of the month, adding yet another jam show to the state this month. The group headlined their 4th of July show at the Stone Pony Summer Stage in 2024 along with Daniel Donato. This will be nearly their 60th show in the state.

February 28: Babymonster at Prudential Center, Newark

The month concludes with Babymonster, a South Korean K-pop group, will come to the Prudential Center for their first show in New Jersey. In fact, it will be their first show in the United States.
