Rock, Ribs, & Ridges Festival in Augusta, NJ, will take place from June 27 to June 29 this summer, featuring a lineup of southern rock musicians, barbeque, and camping.

The festival, taking place at the Sussex County Fairgrounds, took in over 20,000 attendees over the weekend in 2024.

On Friday, the festival announced rock legend George Thorogood & the Destroyers as their Sunday headliner.

Over the past few years, Thorogood has been honored by the Grammy Museum and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s “Legends of Rock” exhibit.

Thorogood and his band have performed over 8,000 times and have sold over 15 million albums over the years.

Grand Funk Railroad will headline on Saturday night, a group originating in Flint, Michigan nearly 60 years ago.

The band is known as “The American Band” and will be touring in 2025 under that slogan.

According to the festival, the band paved the way for bands like Foreigner, Journey, Van Halen, and Bon Jovi.

Friday will get the festival started with doors opening at around 6:00 pm and a headlining performance by Atlanta Rhythm Section, or ARS.

ARS was elected into the Georgia Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996, and performed at the White House for President Jimmy Carter during the band’s golden age in the ’70s.

Tickets are on sale now with General Admission tickets starting at $115 for the weekend.
