Last week, the Grammy Award Nominations for 2025 were announced. Several New Jersey natives were featured in the list of nominations across several genres.

Jack Antonoff, Bergenfield native, current member of Bleachers, former member of fun. and Steel Train, and songwriter and producer for Taylor Swift, was nominated for six Grammys.

Antonoff was nominated four times for production and songwriting credit with Taylor Swift on “The Tortured Poets Department” and “Fortnight,” and twice with Sabrina Carpenter on “Short n’ Sweet” and “Please, Please, Please.”

The 40-year-old has won 11 Grammys over the years and has been nominated for 29. Previously, he and fun. won Song of the Year, and he has won Album of the Year three times with Swift.

Cardi B, a current Tenafly resident, was nominated for Best Rap Performance with “Enough (Miami).” SZA, who grew up in Maplewood, was nominated for two awards: Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song with “Saturn.”

Longtime Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band member Stevie Van Zandt received a nomination for Best Music Film with “Stevie Van Zandt: Disciple.”

Plainfield native George Clinton received a nomination in the Best Audio Book, Narration, & Storytelling Recording with his book “…And Your A– Will Follow.”
