RED BANK, NJ — The Light of Day Foundation unveiled its 25th anniversary WinterFest lineup Tuesday, which will take place on Jan. 18, 2025.

John Rzeznik, frontman of Goo Goo Dolls, known for their hit Iris, will headline the event in January. Brian Fallon, guitarist and lead singer of The Gaslight Anthem will also appear for an acoustic set.

Bad Religion guitarist Brian Baker and Bouncing Souls guitarist Pete Steinkopf will also be joining the event.

Other names include Dramarama, Willie Nile, and Joe Grushecky & the Houserockers. More names are set to be announced soon.

All performances and events will raise money and awareness for the continuing quest to end Parkinson’s disease and its related illnesses ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) and PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy) within our lifetime.

There will also be other shows in Red Bank, Asbury Park, and Montclair to be announced soon which will benefit the same cause.

“The 25th anniversary of LOD WinterFest will be a memorable celebration,” Bob Benjamin said, Founder, Light of Day Foundation. “The month of January will be rocking in Asbury Park, Red Bank and New York, all to benefit Parkinson’s, ALS and PSP.”

Over the past 25 years of the event, the Light of Day Foundation has raised around $6.5 million to help combat Parkinson’s disease, ALS, and PSP.

The festival started at The Stone Pony in 2000 and has continued at venues like the Paramount Theater and Count Basie. Bruce Springsteen is among those who have appeared as special guests at the festival.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, Nov. 15. Select proceeds will go towards benefiting the foundation.
