On Tuesday morning, Madison Square Garden and Dave Matthews Band announced SOULSHINE, a hurricane benefit to raise money for “hurricane relief and recovery.”
The festival will be headlined by Dave Matthews Band, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Warren Haynes Band, and Goose. It will also feature performances and appearances from Trey Anastasio, Mavis Staples, Robert Randolph, Joe Russo, Trombone Shorty, Susan Tedeschi, and Derek Trucks. More artists are expected to be announced soon.
Tickets will go on sale on Friday, November 1st at 10:00 am EST.
The show will be the third Dave Matthews headlining show at The Garden in as many days, as the band’s tour stops at MSG the two nights before as part of their Fall Tour. The band also performed in two cities in New Jersey over the summer: Camden at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion and Holmdel at PNC Bank Arts Center.
