Bruce Springsteen, New Jersey’s unequivocal favorite musician, is heading to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania tonight for two huge shows.
Springsteen, currently well into his tour with the E Street Band, are performing at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, the home stadium of MLB’s Philadelphia Phillies.
Springsteen was supposed to play the venue in 2023, but those dates were cancelled and rescheduled for this year. The original dates were August 16th and August 18th of 2023.
Now, Bruce and his band will be performing tonight, August 21st, and Friday, August 23rd.
Philadelphia is just the second city that Bruce will hit for the US leg of the tour, as he started the leg last week in Pittsburgh for two nights at the PPG Paints Arena.
After heading to Washington DC and Baltimore, Mayland, Bruce will make his hometown stop in Asbury Park, New Jersey, where he wrote all of ‘Born in the USA.’
Springsteen will be in New Jersey to headline the sixth edition of the Sea.Hear.Now Festival, headlining along with folk-pop superstar Noah Kahan.
Bruce is headlining the second day of the festival, Sunday, September 15th, for a marathon 3-hour long set to close out the festival. On Sunday, names like The Gaslight Anthem, Trey Anastasio Band, Norah Jones, and Kool & the Gang will join him on the bill.
