Kill Tony performed their first of two sold-out shows at the Madison Square Garden on Friday night, and it was one full of surprises.

The night started with an hour-long jam with the Kill Tony band, which consists of Jon Deas, Michael Gonzalez, and more, who tour with Gary Clark Jr.

Marcus King also inserted himself into the band about a half hour into the jam and stayed until the end of the show, even lending his guitar to a guest comedian who performed a guitar-solo into a crowd of 14,000 people.

Jelly Roll got things going as the intro to the actual comedy show, singing a rendition of Frank Sinatra’s ‘Theme from New York, New York’ whilst wearing a full velvet-green suit.

Surprise comedian Andrew Dice Clay, famous for his New York comedy performances, opened the show up, doing stand-up for a sold-out MSG crowd, as well as Joe Rogan and Shane Gillis, who participated on the guest panel.

Andrew Shulz arrived to the show later as a guest after his flights got delayed, and an unfortunate bathroom delay. Adam Ray as Dr. Phil, Ron White, Big Jay Oakerson, Harland Williams, and Luis J. Gomez also performed sets as surprise guests.

Kill Tony regulars William Montgomery, Hans Kim, Casey Rocket, Ari Matti, and David Lucas also performed sets, and Golden Ticket winner Jared Nathan also made an appearance.

The show will be back at the Garden on Saturday. Tickets are sold out, but are available for purchase on second-hand markets. Remember, if you get tickets, arrive early as the venue will lock up your phones in a pouch which can take some time.
