The Revivalists are sub headlining Sea.Hear.Now on Saturday, September 14th alongside the likes of Noah Kahan, 311, and The Black Crowes.

Editor’s note: This is the 20th of 29 total pieces in the ‘SHN Previews’ collection. Click here to read the rest and brush up on your Sea.Hear.Now knowledge.

The Revivalists are no stranger to New Jersey, they’re here all the time. In 2023, they headlined the Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park along with The Head and the Heart, following the theme of bands playing Sea.Hear.Now after playing the Summer Stage.

In 2022, they performed at Xponential Festival when it was being held at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden. They also played the festival in 2016, and have played many shows in New Jersey between then. Even before, too, as they played The Saint in Asbury before closure in 2022.

The group released their latest full-length LP in 2023, titled ‘Pour It Out Into the Night,’ which featured one of their biggest hits yet, ‘Kid.’ Their biggest song, ‘Wish I Knew You,’ has surpassed over 200 million streams on Spotify and is over a quarter way to the next century mark.

The Revivalists have a unique sound, mixing soul, funk, and folk into one very fun rock & roll group. The eight-piece band is composed of David Shaw (vocals), Zach Feinberg (guitar), Andrew Campanelli (drums), George Gekas (bass), Ed Williams (pedal steel guitar), Rob Ingraham (saxophone), Michael Girardot (keyboard and trumpet), and PJ Howard (drums).

The group has massed together over 2,000,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, and have sold tons of records worldwide. They’ll also be at Oceans Calling Festival in Ocean City, MD this September.

They’ll be a great show at Sea.Hear.Now in a few weeks, so make sure to check them out! While the schedule isn’t out yet, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them as the penultimate park stage act.
