Train & REO Speedwagon: Summer Road Trip Tour
Train and REO Speedwagon are chugging along to the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel on August 1st. Train, know for their hits like ‘Hey Soul Sister,’ are teaming up with an older group who have tons of hits themselves, like ‘Can’t Fight This Feeling’ and ‘Keep On Loving You.’
The two bands aren’t really the same style, but they work nicely together as a co-headline. Yacht Rock Revue will also be joining them on the bill, which is a perfect fit as the opener. They’ll be playing your favorite Yacht Rock tunes to get the night going.
Limp Bizkit, BONES, N8noface, Corey Feldman, & Riff Raff: Loserville Tour
The stacked lineup on the first ever Loserville Tour, headlined by Limp Bizkit, is hitting PNC Bank Arts Center on Tuesday, July 30th.
It’s a shame it’s a fully-seated venue with no pit for Limp Bizkit, but nonetheless, they should get everyone on their feet fairly quickly.
Riff Raff is hosting the night and will be performing sets in between each artist, and there’s a lot of them. Corey Feldman, known for being Corey Feldman, I guess, will be getting the show started, and some solid acts will be performing leading up to Limp Bizkit. It should be a fun, long night.
Earth, Wind, & Fire & Chicago: Heart & Soul Tour
Earth, Wind, & Fire, teaming up with Chicago, will be hitting the road and New Jersey twice this week on the Heart & Soul Tour. First in Camden at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion on July 31st, and next at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel on August 3rd.
This is a great billing as a co-headline, and certainly not one you’d want to miss if you’re in the area or have a lawn pass.
Sad Summer Festival: Mayday Parade, The Maine, & more
Sad Summer Festival is coming around for its 5th year! After playing amphitheaters in 2023, they’re back to all General Admission venues, including the Stone Pony Summer Stage on August 4th. Headlined by Mayday Parade and The Maine, you can also catch The Wonder Years, We the Kings, Real Friends, Knuckle Puck, Hot Milk, Daisy Grenade, and Diva Bleach.
It’ll be a great, long day for pop-punk fans! All of these bands put on a fun show, and Sad Summer always puts together a worthwhile lineup.
It’ll be the second time The Wonder Years are performing on the Summer Stage, as they also appeared at Bleachers’ Shadow of the City Festival in June.
A full preview for this year’s Sad Summer Festival will be coming this weekend – stay tuned!
Imagine Dragons: LOOM World Tour
Imagine Dragons are still kicking it and are headed out on a World Tour that is stopping by the PNC Bank Arts Center on Sunday, August 4th, as well as Freedom Mortgage Pavilion on July 30th.
The band, celebrating the release of their new album, ‘LOOM,’ will be playing their first gig in the Garden State since 2022, where they also played at the PNC.
