Action Bronson is bringing rap to Sea.Hear.Now on Sunday, September 15th. The Queens-native is a rare hip-hop/rap artist for the festival, so the set should be well-anticipated.
Action Bronson, whose real name is Ariyan Arslani, is a 40-year-old rapper from Flushing who does frequent shows in the area. Not only is he an esteemed rapper, he is also a great chef, can speak six languages, and is a playable character in EA Sports’ UFC video game.
Bronson has already played a show in New Jersey this year, performing at Cypress Hill’s 4/20 celebration in Atlantic City. He also performed at Starland Ballroom in 2023, as well as Bamboozle in 2012.
AB has racked over more than 2,000,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, with songs combining his love for rap and food. His hit record, ‘Mr. Wonderful’ was released in 2015, and features songs like ‘Easy Rider’ and ‘Baby Blue’, which features Chance the Rapper and has over 150,000,000 streams on Spotify.
His newest single, ‘Sega’, was released this month, coming in at just a minute and 45 seconds long. According to Hypebeast, he’s currently “finishing up” his next LP, but the release date is unknown.
