Comedy is making a big boom, and many great comedians are coming to the state of New Jersey. Below is a list of the best comedy acts coming to the Garden State in 2024.
July 19, 20, & 21: Chico Bean at Stress Factory, New Brunswick
Stress Factory is New Jersey’s premier comedy venue in New Brunswick, and Chico Bean is doing five shows across three days at the club.
July 21: Kevin Hart at Etess Arena, Atlantic City
Kevin Hart is making his way to Atlantic City for a show at the Etess Arena at Hard Rock Casino in Atlantic City. Tickets start at $119 for the one set show.
July 28: Adam Ray at Stress Factory, New Brunswick
Perhaps one of the funniest guys in comedy right now, Adam Ray is doing two shows at the Stress Factory on July 28th. You can check out his YouTube channel for his new special, ‘Like & Subscribe’, along with his weekly ‘Dr. Phil Live’ specials with funny comedian guests. Tickets start at $30.
August 2: Nate Bargatze at Etess Arena, Atlantic City
Nate Bargatze is doing two shows in Atlantic City on August 2nd. Bargatze is an underrated, very funny comedian who is making a big splash in the scene.
August 2-3: Ian Bagg at Stress Factory, New Brunswick
Ian Bragg is doing two shows each day at Stress Factory, tickets start at $30 for one.
August 7: Casey Rocket at Stress Factory, New Brunswick
Casey Rocket, a regular on Kill Tony, the biggest live podcast in the world, is doing a set at Stress Factory. Rocket is also the co-host of the William Montgomery Show on YouTube. Rocket is known for his sporadic energy and “riffing” comedy style.
August 24: Mark Normand at Hackensack Meridian Health Theater, Red Bank
Mark Normand, known for having no filter in his comedy, is performing in Red Bank this summer. He’s one of the best living comics out there – it’ll be a great show.
August 28: Ahren Belisle at Stress Factory, New Brunswick
Born with cerebral palsy, Ahren Belisle uses a text-to-speech phone and speaker to relay his comedy, and it’s very funny. He appeared on America’s Got Talent and made it to the finals. Tickets start at $25.
August 31-September 1: Dave Attell at Stress Factory, New Brunswick
Dave Attell is a veteran of the game, but still an underrated comic. Catch his set at Stress Factory for just $35.
September 14: Kevin James at Etess Arena, Atlantic City
Yes, the guy from Mall Cop does standup. Unfortunately, it’s on the same day as Sea.Hear.Now, but if you aren’t going, it should be a funny show. Tickets start at $69.
October 17-19: Akaash Singh at Stress Factory, New Brunswick
Akaash Singh is doing two shows each day at Stress Factory in October.
October 25: Jessica Kirson at Hackensack Meridian Health Theater, Red Bank
Jessica Kirson, a native of the area, is performing in Red Bank later this year. She is very prominent on TikTok and Instagram for her crowd work, and just released a full 45-minute crowd work special.
November 16: Bored Teachers at Wellmont Theater, Montclair
You might recognize Bored Teachers from their skits on TikTok, but they’re making a return to the Wellmont Theater for their standup comedy! A group of teachers who tour comedy make up the show.
December 27: Sal Vulcano at Hackensack Meridian Health Theater, Red Bank
Sal Vulcano, known from the hit comedy show Impractical Jokers, is going on tour for standup comedy. He just released his new comedy special, ‘Terrified’, and it’s one of the best new comedy specials out there.
March 21, 2025: Katt Williams at Prudential Center, Newark
Katt Williams is headlining Prudential Center, so there shouldn’t be much more talk there. When you’re headlining an arena in comedy, you know it’s good, mostly.
