Joe P, stylized as joe p, is an Indie artist from New Jersey. He’ll be performing at Sea.Hear.Now Festival on Saturday, September 14th.
Joe P was in a band since eighth grade, but when the pandemic came around, it dissolved, and he had to go his own way. He made most of his music in his basement in New Jersey, and through TikTok, gained over 300,000 followers in just a few months.
Joe’s hit song ‘Off My Mind’ was released in 2021 as part of his first record, ‘Emily Can’t Sing’. He’s just released his newest single, ‘Birthday Baby (The Girl with No Smile)’, which was released this past May.
After his appearance at Sea.Hear.Now, he’s going on a North American tour, celebrating the release of his new record, ‘Garden State Vampire’, coming out on August 23rd. Among the many months of touring, he’ll also be appearing at Love Letters Fest, Austin City Limits, and some more shows here in the northeast: Bowery Ballroom and Brooklyn Bowl Philly.
Being an NJ native, he’s played many shows in the state. Most recently, he performed at the Light of the Day Winter Festival in Red Bank this January, along with White Eagle Hall, Low Dive, and The Stone Pony in 2023.
