North2Shore Festival, happening across New Jersey in the month of June, starts this week in Asbury Park.

The festival takes place across three weeks, one in Asbury Park, one in Atlantic City, and one in Newark later this June.

Here is a preview of some of the featured events this year as part of North2Shore Festival

June 12: Gary Clark Jr. at Stone Pony Summer Stage, Asbury Park

As part of North2Shore Festival, Gary Clark Jr. is hitting the summer stage for a midweek outdoor show. Tangiers Blues Band, fronted by Danny Clinch, will be adding support for the show, so that’s a reason just to go on its own.

June 13: Band of Horses at Stone Pony Summer Stage, Asbury Park

The festival continues with Band of Horses on the Summer Stage. Sunshine Spazz, a local Asbury Park band who will be performing at Sea.Hear.Now Festival, will be opening for their first set on the Summer Stage.

June 14: Lake Street Dive at Stone Pony Summer Stage, Asbury Park

Lake Street Dive adds a third show in a row for North2Shore’s Summer Stage run. On the same day in the indoor Pony, there are two other shows happening: an early show from Steph Amarosa and a late show from The Vibrotones.

June 15: Bleachers at Stone Pony Summer Stage, Asbury Park

Probably the biggest band to play the venue this year, Bleachers are bringing back the ‘Shadow of the City’ Festival to the Summer Stage, as part of North2Shore. The festival starts at 2:00 pm and includes music from The Japanese House, Samia, The Wonder Years, and more.

June 15: I Am the Avalanche at Asbury Lanes, Asbury Park

I Am the Avalanche are helping close out North2Shore in Asbury with a set at Lanes. The show is part of their 20th Anniversary tour.
