Alt indie hip-hop duo Little Stranger is set to take on the IHG Stage on GovBall on Saturday, June 8th from 12:45 – 1:15 pm.

The group recently released their newest single, ‘Sofia’, from their upcoming record releasing later this month. The new album, ‘Sat Around Trippin’ is out on June 28th.

Little Stranger is no stranger to unique and quirky beats, and they also blend their music with more of a rock sound.

Aside from their new single, Little Stranger have released two records in the past: one in 2022 and one in 2015. The group has also collaborated with artists like The Elovators, The Movement, Tropidelic, and Andy Frasco.

Both members of the group, Kevin and John Shields, who are not related, were born and raised in Philadelphia, so GovBall won’t be too far of a hike from their hometown.

The group has a ton of shows coming up this year, including festival dates at Electric Forest, Levitate, and Summerfest. They’re going on a summer tour with Stick Figure from July to August, and they’ll be going on a headline tour starting in late September and going through the end of October.

Each ticket on the tour with Stick Figure will have a portion donated to support music industry professionals struggling with mental health, so going out to one of the shows will make a difference.

Little Stranger hasn’t played a ton of shows in the area, but when they do, they’re good. They opened for Andy Frasco in 2022 on his tour that stopped in Brooklyn and Philadelphia. They’ll be adding to their resume in the area with their set at GovBall and their headline show in Philadelphia later this year.
