Country star Morgan Wallen is ready to perform two straight shows at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ, this Friday and Saturday.

Wallen, 31, is headlining the two nights at MetLife along with openers Parker McCollum, Nate Smith, and Lauren Watkins. McCollum and Smith just performed at the ACM Music Awards.

The tour is part of Wallen’s ‘One Night At A Time’ tour, which spans across many cities in the US and Europe. Wallen is coming off a performance at Stagecoach Festival, Coachella’s country festival.

Wallen also recently released a single with rapper Post Malone, who has begun venturing in the country scene. Malone and Wallen’s new single, ‘I Had Some Help’ is a new summer country anthem, according to many on social media.

Wallen hasn’t played a regular headline show since 2019, when he performed at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, now known as the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion.

However, the Tennessee-born singer headlined TidalWave Festival in Atlantic City in 2022. The festival occurred a few times in the state, but will not be returning in 2024.

The state of New Jersey is bracing for the large amount of people for Wallen’s MetLife shows, specifically by putting signs up in the area telling people to be prepared about the influx of travel and traffic.
