Looking for some reggae in your day at Sea.Hear.Now? Passafire has you covered!

Passafire, the Savannah, Georgia natives, are a reggae group set to be one of the first bands to open up the fest on Saturday. The band is billed second to last, so they will be one of the first to perform.

Passafire has the Park Stage written all over them, though without a schedule yet, it’s tough to decide where they will play.

The four-piece band were formed in 2003 and released their first self-titled record three years later. Since then, they’ve released seven additional records of original music.

The group performed at Red Rocks in 2023 as part of the ‘Reggae on the Rocks’ Festival.

Not only are Passafire playing at Sea.Hear.Now, but they’ll also be at Bayville Festival in Bayville, New Jersey on June 22nd.

The group has a rich history of playing shows in New Jersey and Asbury Park. They opened for Iration on the Stone Pony Summer Stage in 2022, and have played over 30 shows in the state since their formation over 20 years ago.
There are 18 weeks until Sea.Hear.Now Festival, so these previews will keep rolling in! This is article 7 out of 29 in the ‘SHN Previews’ series, and you can read the rest of them here.
