Philadelphia natives The Starting Line is the next band to announce shows at the newly reopened House of Independents in Asbury Park this summer.
After Brian Fallon from The Gaslight Anthem announced two shows to reopen the venue, The Starting Line is following along with two shows on July 26th and 27th. The shows are named ‘Say Hello to Jersey’.
The Starting Line, labeling the show as ‘a loud and intimate evening’ have played over 50 shows in the state of New Jersey.
This is the statement they put out to Instagram for the shows announcement: “Open up those beautiful turnpike gates, because TSL gang is headed down shore for the weekend. We are lovingly returning to the first state to truly accept and embrace our blossoming sound over 25 years ago, the historic land of emotional punk trendsetters and palm-muting trailblazers… NEW JERSEY! It’s all taking place in sunny Asbury Park at the newly reopened House of Independents July 26th and 27th. Tickets on sale Friday – come ride the wave!”
