New Jersey ska-punk band Streetlight Manifesto announced their ‘Myth of Monsters’ tour, featuring many shows in the area this year.
The band had already announced the second annual ‘Long Summer Night’ on the Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park a few weeks ago. The show is taking place on July 6th and will be the first show of the tour.
The tour then heads to the west coast before returning to Long Island for a set at the Great South Bay Music Festival on July 19th. While schedules aren’t out yet, they will most likely be performing for an hour, based on previous years schedules. The show is not listed as a tour stop.
The band returns to touring in August and will be making stops on the east coast in Silver Spring, Norfolk, and Pittsburgh, before ultimately stopping in Brooklyn, NY. The band is performing at the Brooklyn Steel on December 6th, a 1,800 capacity venue.
They then head to Philadelphia the next day, December 7th, for a show at Franklin Music Hall. The tour concludes the following day in Boston at the Roadrunner.
Openers have not yet been announced for the tour, nor have dates for the Starland Ballroom shows. The band has been playing at Starland Ballroom almost every year since 2004, and have played over 25 shows at the venue.
Presale tickets go on sale tomorrow morning with a presale, and on general sale on Friday, May 10th at 10:00 am.
