The Bouncing Souls’ annual Stoked for Summer show at the Stone Pony Summer Stage is coming back for 2024 on July 20th, and the great list of openers were just announced.
Previously, bands like The Mezingers and Joyce Manor have opened the show, but five bands have been added to the shows lineup this year, and some are saying this is the best lineup yet.
The Vandals: The Vandals are coming to the east coast, finally, as they are set to subheadline the show below The Bouncing Souls. The Californian band only has one east coast show on the schedule, and that’s this one in Asbury Park.
The Dead Milkmen: The Dead Milkmen formed in the 80s in Philadelphia and will be making the trip up to Asbury for Stoked. They released a new record in April of 2023.
Sheer Mag: Sheer Mag is a female fronted band from Philadelphia, which formed in 2014. Their new LP, ‘Moonstruck’ was recently released. They’re touring the United States and Europe all year.
Catch 22: The NJ-native ska band Catch 22 is coming to Stoked for the first time. The band recently played at AC Beer Fest.
Des & the Swagmatics: Local Asbury Park band Des & the Swagmatics won’t have to travel far for this hometown show! The 5-piece band will be opening the show.
