Stone Temple Pilots and Live along with The Gaslight Anthem have announced tours that are both coming to New Jersey this summer.

Stone Temple Pilots, with new lead singer Jeff Gutt, along with Live announced a coheadline Monday that will be stopping at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel on September 6. They are bringing along guests Soul Asylum.

Both bands are celebrating anniversaries of their records: Stone Temple Pilots is celebrating 30 years of Purple, and Live is celebrating 30 years of Our Lady Peace.

STP haven’t been to NJ since 2022, when they played the Orange Loop Rock Festival in Atlantic City. Their last NJ headline show was at Sound Waves in AC. The band also played MMRBQ Festival in Camden in 2018 along with Alice in Chains and Ghost.

The Gaslight Anthem has also announced a History Books US Tour this year, including two stops in New Jersey. They are playing the Stone Pony Summer Stage on August 16 along with Joyce Manor and Pinkshift.

They will also be performing at the Sea.Hear.Now Festival in Asbury Park in September, subheadlining behind Bruce Springsteen & the E-Street Band on Sunday.

The Gaslight Anthem, New Jersey natives, have played eight shows in Jersey since 2023 alone. They opened for Misfits at the Prudential Center, headlined four shows at White Eagle Hall in Jersey City in October, and played at the NHL Stadium Series in February at MetLife Stadium. The band played Howl live eight times, one for each Devils goal, the intro, and the outro, as well as a first intermission show, in which they played 45, Great Expectations, and The ‘59 Sound.

The Gaslight Anthem is currently wrapping up a European tour with Emily Wolfe and Spanish Love Songs.
