Over the past week, a ton of shows have been announced in New Jersey for the summer. Here’s your weekly roundup of tour announcements that you might have missed.

Cage the Elephant: PNC Bank Arts Center 8/24

Cage the Elephant is coming back to New Jersey on the Neon Pill Tour in support of their new record, Neon Pill, coming out May 17. Cage has not played any shows since 2022, one of the last being Sea.Hear.Now in 2022. Their last headline show in the state was in 2019 at BB&T Pavilion in Camden, per setlist.fm.

Cage is bringing Young the Giant along with them on tour, who played at the Stone Pony Summer Stage last year.

Something Corporate: Stone Pony Summer Stage 8/23

Speaking of the Summer Stage, Something Corporate is bringing their reunion tour to Asbury Park. It will be their first show in New Jersey since Bamboozle in 2010, and their first headline in the state since their show at Starland Ballroom in 2005. SoCo has played the Pony Lot just once in 2002 for the Warped Tour.

Lead singer Andrew McMahon has played four shows in New Jersey in the past two years, including two shows at the Summer Stage in 2022, a show at Starland Ballroom in 2023, and a set at Adjacent Festival in 2023.

The high demand show sold out in less than an hour and the entire tour is almost sold out. Support is yet to be announced.

Dirty Heads & Slightly Stoopid: PNC Bank Arts Center 7/12

Dirty Heads and Slightly Stoopid are bringing their Slightly Dirty Summer 2024 co-headline tour to the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, with guests Common Kings and The Elovaters. The reggae-rock bands both played in New Jersey last year. Dirty Heads performed a set at Sea.Hear.Now in 2019.

Two Door Cinema Club: Stone Pony Summer Stage 7/26

Two Door Cinema Club is returning to New Jersey for the first time in over 10 years with special guest Flipturn. 2DCC last played in Jersey on October 9, 2013 at Starland Ballroom. This show at the Summer Stage will be their second show in the state.

Special guest Flipturn has played in Asbury Park the past two years, playing historic venues Wonder Bar (2022) and The Stone Pony (2023).

Sublime with Rome: Stone Pony Summer Stage 8/25

Sublime with Rome has announced their farewell tour with a show at the Stone Pony Summer Stage on August 25. The band is ending as the original Sublime lineup, featuring Jakob Nowell, is returning.

This will be the band’s first time at the Summer Stage since 2019. Support is yet to be announced.

Jelly Roll: Prudential Center 9/29

Grammy-nominated artist Jelly Roll is coming to the Prudential Center in September on his Beautifully Broken tour. He is bringing along Warren Zeiders and Alexandra Kay.

Jelly Roll last performed in New Jersey at the TidalWave Festival in Atlantic City, a country music festival which is yet to announce its return for 2024. Alexandra Kay was at the festival the year prior in 2022.

Kid Cudi: Prudential Center 7/17

Lastly, Kid Cudi has announced a Prudential Center show as part of his Insano World Tour with Pusha T and Jaden.

Kid Cudi hasn’t played in New Jersey in 12 years, with his last show being a short set at Rock the Bells at PNC Bank Arts Center. His last headline show in NJ was in 2011 at Convention Hall. He was also at Bamboozle Festival in 2009, which featured performances from No Doubt, Taking Back Sunday, Sum 41, and Demi Lovato on the same day.

Also announced this week: Sea.Hear.Now Festival with Bruce Springsteen & Noah Kahan, MMRBQ with The Offspring & Halestorm, Sad Summer Festival with Mayday Parade & The Maine, and North2Shore.
